He read the incantation aloud, a shiver crawling down his spine as the air thickened. A low growl echoed through the park, sending birds scattering.

From the shadows, Karim emerged, his eyes burning with ancient rage. "You have awakened me, mortal. Now you will pay the price."

Omar, terrified, fled back to his family's apartment, unaware of the horror he carried with him. His mother, Fatima, greeted him with a worried smile.
