Comic Story
Panel 1
The forest held its breath that morning. Even the leaves seemed to shimmer with unspoken secrets. King Uncle Tiger, a creature of habit, was unusually restless.
Panel 2
"It's been too long since I've seen that sly nephew of mine," Tiger grumbled, flicking his tail. "Wonder what that Scholar Fox is up to these days, cooped up in his den?"
Panel 3
Tiger marched towards Fox's house, his massive paws crushing twigs underfoot. "Nephew! Get out here! Your favorite uncle has arrived!"
Panel 4
A crack echoed as the door slowly opened, revealing Fox, looking disheveled. "Uncle? What a surprise! What brings you to my humble abode?"
Panel 5
"You've been hiding! Are you sick?" Tiger boomed, towering over the smaller fox. "Or are you up to no good, like usual?"
Panel 6
"Research, Uncle!" Fox exclaimed, his eyes gleaming mischievously. "I'm on the cusp of discovering something incredible, something no one has ever imagined!"
Panel 7
"Research? What nonsense is this?" Tiger scoffed, unimpressed. "Are you searching for bigger chickens to steal?"
Panel 8
"To the moon, Uncle!" Fox whispered, his voice filled with awe. "I am devising a way to journey to the moon! They say the moon-deer roam free there!"
Panel 9
"Moon-deer? Unprotected?" Tiger's eyes widened with avarice. "Take me with you, Fox! I must feast upon these lunar delicacies!"
Panel 10
"Alas, the machine is not quite ready, Uncle," Fox said, feigning disappointment. "It can only carry one passenger at a time, and I need to test it first."
Panel 11
"I'll go first!" Tiger insisted, puffing out his chest. "Then you can follow and bring me back some lunar delicacies!"
Panel 12
"Very well, Uncle," Fox conceded with a sly grin. "But I'll need a month to refine the machine. And... a chicken a day to fuel my genius!"
Panel 13
For weeks, Fox feasted on plump chickens, while Tiger dreamt of lunar feasts. Time passed slowly for the impatient Tiger, but for Fox it was delightful.
Panel 14
"Is the machine ready, Nephew?" Tiger bellowed impatiently. "I can almost taste those moon-deer!"
Panel 15
"Tonight is the night, Uncle!" Fox announced, holding up a large sack and a rope. "The moon is full, and the stars are aligned for our voyage!"
Panel 16
"What are these for, Nephew?" Tiger asked, eyeing the sack with suspicion. "Are we going hunting before we go to the moon?"
Panel 17
"Fairies and spirits haunt the moon's path, Uncle," Fox explained gravely. "I must blindfold you for your protection! You can't even glimpse the moon."
Panel 18
Fox blindfolded Tiger and helped him into the sack. "This is your lunar vessel, Uncle! Do not move, or the machine will break!"
Panel 19
Fox dragged the sack under a large tree, tied the rope to a sturdy branch, and hoisted Tiger high. "Blast off!" he shouted with glee.
Panel 20
CRACK! The branch snapped, and BANG! Tiger plummeted to the earth. "The landing must be rough on the moon!" he groaned, before losing consciousness.
Panel 21
Tiger awoke bruised and confused, still in his own forest. "That treacherous Fox!" he roared, realizing he'd been tricked. "I will devour him!"
Panel 22
Tiger stormed to Fox's house, but it was empty. The Scholar Fox had vanished without a trace! The chickens were gone, too.
Panel 23
"That cunning nephew tricked me!" Tiger sighed, defeated. "He's probably on the moon right now, feasting on moon-deer!"
Panel 24
And to this day, whenever Uncle Tiger sees the moon, he whispers, "Look! There's Fox, my crafty nephew, ruling his lunar kingdom!"
