Panel 1
Sarah clutched her test, a knot forming in her stomach. A low C stared back at her, a stark reminder of her struggles in advanced physics.
Panel 2
"My parents will kill me if they see this," she muttered, her voice barely a whisper. An idea, desperate and foolish, began to take root in her mind.

Later that evening, Sarah showed her parents a test with a carefully altered 'A'. Her heart pounded in her chest as they beamed with pride.

The lie grew, she had to keep up the facade. She started getting help from Mark, the class's genius, to maintain her fake grades.

"I don't understand why you're struggling with this, you usually ace these," Mark said, concern etched on his face. Sarah felt a pang of guilt, the weight of her dishonesty growing heavier.

One day, Mrs. Davison, Sarah's physics teacher, called her into her office. "I'm concerned about your sudden improvement, Sarah," she began, her tone gentle but firm.

"I messed up, Mom, Dad. I know I hurt you, and I'm so sorry," Sarah said, her voice filled with genuine remorse.
