Comic Story
Panel 1
The rain never stops here, not really. Just a constant, grey drizzle that seeps into everything.
Panel 2
Sometimes I think it's raining inside me too, washing away what little color I had left.
Panel 3
Mama always loved roses. She said they were strong, even in the face of hardship.
Panel 4
This one... this one's different. It reminds me of you, Mama.
Panel 5
The storm's getting worse. I have to protect it, somehow.
Panel 6
It's no use. The plastic blew away… the rose is exposed.
Panel 7
No! I won't let it die! Not like... not like her.
Panel 8
I'll bring it inside, where it's safe. Where I can protect it.
Panel 9
Inside, the silence is deafening. Except for the thunder, and my own racing heart.
Panel 10
It's still losing petals. I feel so helpless.
Panel 11
Mama used to say, even in the darkest storms, there's always a chance for new growth.
Panel 12
I need to believe that. I need to believe in new growth for both of us.
Panel 13
The rain is slowing. The sun is finally peeking through.
Panel 14
And look... a new bud. Small, but strong. Just like Mama said.
Panel 15
Maybe the rain wasn't washing away the color. Maybe it was just watering the seeds of hope.
