Comic Story
Panel 1
The sun beat down on Corvus, baking the cracked earth. Not a drop of water to be found for miles, and the flock depended on him.
Panel 2
He remembered the old tales of a Wishing Well, long forgotten. Legend said its waters held magic, but even finding it seemed impossible now.
Panel 3
Days turned into nights as Corvus flew tirelessly, guided only by whispers of the wind. Finally, he spotted it - a crumbling stone structure swallowed by the sand.
Panel 4
The Wishing Well was dry, its depths choked with dust and despair. Corvus's heart sank; the legends were just that, legends.
Panel 5
Suddenly, a voice echoed from the well's depths, ancient and wise. "You seek water, little crow, but true wishing requires more than thirst."
Panel 6
From the depths rose Elara, the well's guardian, her form shimmering like heat haze. "Show me your heart, Corvus. What are you truly willing to give?"
Panel 7
Corvus thought of his flock, weak and dying from the drought. "I would give anything," he cried, "even my own life, for their survival."
Panel 8
Elara smiled, a sad, knowing smile. "True wishing isn't about what you ask, but what you offer. You have shown me your true heart."
Panel 9
A single drop of water appeared, then another, and another, until the well overflowed. But it wasn't just water; it was a spring of pure, life-giving magic.
Panel 10
Corvus returned to his flock, leading them to the magical spring. The land flourished, reborn by the well's unexpected gift.
Panel 11
He learned that day that true magic lies not in getting what you wish for, but in the strength of your giving. And in the kindness of forgotten guardians.
