Panel 1
Kiran lived a simple life in the village of Amara. His days were filled with chores and dreams of exploring the world beyond the mountains.
Panel 2
One day, while tending his family's goats, he found a wolf caught in a hunter's snare. The animal was injured and terrified, its leg mangled in the metal trap.
Panel 3
"Don't be afraid," Kiran whispered, his voice soft and soothing. "I'm here to help you."
Panel 4
Against his father's wishes, Kiran nursed the wolf back to health, naming her Shanti, meaning 'peace'. He secretly shared his food and spent hours tending to her wounds.
Panel 5
A bond grew between them, deeper than any Kiran had ever known. Shanti became his confidante, his protector, a wild spirit tamed by kindness.
Panel 6
But their idyllic life was shattered when the village was struck by a terrible storm. The river flooded, destroying homes and crops.
Panel 7
During the chaos, Shanti was swept away by the floodwaters. Kiran searched for her for days, his heart heavy with grief and fear.
Panel 8
He found her, weakened and injured, trapped beneath a fallen tree. But it was too late; Shanti's injuries were too severe.
Panel 9
"Thank you, Kiran," Shanti seemed to whisper, her voice barely audible. "You showed me kindness, and I will never forget you."
Panel 10
Kiran buried Shanti beneath the oldest tree in the village, planting a seed of hope in the earth above her. He learned that even in loss, love endures.
Panel 11
The wind carried Shanti's spirit through the village, a reminder that even in the face of tragedy, compassion and love can heal the deepest wounds. And life, like the wind, always finds a way.
